Perch are in deep water in the beginning of a season. The best way to catch perch is to cast jiggs from a boat. Perch in shallow water in swarms during spawning season in spring. Little spinners, wobblers and spoons are excellent to catch perch. Perch goes in deep water in autumn. You can find perch swarms with help of small fish.

Excellent places to catch perch are rushy shores, ranges of rocks and banks which are under the water.

The best times to catch perch are early in the morning and in the evening at sunset.
