Lake Kolima empties into lake Kärnänjärvi via the brook Kyrönpuro and beside the rapid Kärnänkoski. The brook Kyrönpuro is a much smaller fishing ground than the rapid Kärnänkoski. The brook flows in the middle of uninhabited forest. It consists of little rapids and quiet water areas. By the bridge in the middle of the brook Kyrönpuro there is a little settlement on the shore of the brook. The shores of the brook Kyrönpuro are in its natural state and therefore fishing there is a bit difficult in some places. The water quality of the brook is excellent. In the brook kyrönpuro is stocked lake rainbow trout. There are also big anadromous lake trout from the rapid Kärnänkoski. There are going rumours around of lake trout weighing 3 kg. In the rapid Kyrönpuro there is a plenty of small lake trout. on the brook Kyrönpuro there are not fireplaces or other services. But you can use the services of the rapid Kärnänkoski.
