Lake Lannevesi empties from south into lake Summanen via the river Lannejoki. The water in the river is not as brown as in the other rapids on the waterway of Saarijärvi. There is only one big rapid, Myllykoski, in the river. There is an old mill with a bed. The rapid is partly restored. There are several smaller rapids and races in the river, in which especially grayling can be found. The areas below the rapid Kyyränsilta and above the upper bridge are good places to fish grayling. It is not easy to fish there in summertime because the river is quite low in water. There are lake trout and grayling in the rapid Lannejoki. There are a lot of grayling in the river and the biggest catches have weighted over 1 kg. There is a fireplace at the west shore, about halfway down the rapid.
